I wanted my IM client to always be on whatever desktop I was moving too. With Linux\/Compiz I could just &#8220;Pin&#8221; a window and it would stick and be on whatever desktop I was viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Every time I tried to do any combo search on sticky windows, desktop, OS X, Leopard w\/ and w\/o Snow, always visiable, I would end up w\/ a bunch of links to some old program for 10.3 that is dead on 10.5+ it seems. Very annoying.<\/p>\n<p>Today I found you could do this via the Application -> System Preferences -> Expose &#038; Spaces. There you can select applications and which desktop(s) you want them to stick too.<\/p>\n<p>This might not be not worthy&#8230; Or maybe it has been added since 10.6.1 when I got started w\/ my Mac, I am mostly just posting this to hopefully give some other person a chance to find the solution outside of the old Application that floods Google search results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has been annoying me since I started to use a mac as my desktop instead of Linux\/Compiz.
